That's how the company name came up. When the decision to move was made I thought of Vladivostok (in German Wladiwostock), also a port city, far in the east of Russia at the Sea of Japan. So the way to wladirostock was not far. Especially as I still needed a name for my other passion, building track bikes. These are also very minimalistic, as there are no brakes, gears or anything else installed on the bike. This thought has been incorporated into the design of my sofas.
